By commissioning work from Rangka & Co Sdn. Bhd. (“Rangka Woodcraft”) you agree to the terms below. They exist to keep expectations clear on both sides.
Quotes and orders
A written quote is valid for thirty days unless we state otherwise. Because our furniture is made to measure, an order is confirmed only once you have approved the final drawings and paid the agreed deposit. Prices assume the site conditions we observed at measurement; significant changes discovered later may affect the price, and we will always tell you before proceeding.
Deposits and payment
We typically ask for a deposit to begin fabrication, with the balance due on completion of installation. Payment terms are set out in your individual quote. Ownership of the finished piece passes to you once payment is received in full.
Bespoke and made-to-order work
Every piece is built to your specification. Natural timber varies in grain and tone, and slight differences between samples and the finished piece are a feature of a handmade product, not a defect. We will point out any material that is prone to noticeable variation before you confirm.
Timelines
We give realistic lead times and work hard to meet them, but delivery dates are estimates. Delays caused by supply shortages, site access or matters beyond our control do not entitle either party to cancel a confirmed order, though we will keep you informed throughout.
Guarantee
Our joinery carries a ten-year guarantee against faults in our workmanship under normal domestic use. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or wear from an unsuitable environment such as prolonged exposure to water or direct sun.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
