A small Segambut workshop, building things properly
Rangka Woodcraft started in 2014 as two carpenters and a rented lock-up. Today we are a tight crew of makers who still measure, draw and cut everything ourselves.

From a rented lock-up to a full joinery shop
The name Rangka means ‘frame’ in Malay — the honest structure underneath a well-made piece. That is what we care about. We began building single wardrobes for neighbours in Segambut, and word travelled through the Klang Valley from there.
Eleven years on we have fitted more than nine hundred rooms, but the way we work has not changed much. A person measures your space, draws it, and sees it through to the last hinge. You deal with makers, not a sales desk.
- Founded 2014, based in Segambut Dalam, Kuala Lumpur
- In-house design, cutting and finishing
- Residential and light commercial work
The habits behind every build
Measure twice, cut once
Every project begins on site with a tape and a torch, not a catalogue. Gaps against the wall are a sign of a rushed job, and we do not rush.
Honest materials
We tell you exactly what goes into the carcass, the doors and the fittings, and why each suits the humidity here.
Finish the details
Soft-close runners, aligned grain, tidy edges. The parts you touch every day are the parts we fuss over most.
